Today I finally done some sketches for what I would like parts of my game to look like. I got some feedback off another student to give me ideas, along with some suggestions on how to improve.
He said the basics of my ideas were quite good; taking pictures of trees and editing them to look more fantasy quite an interesting idea. Suggestions he gave me was to take pictures of different textures of trees to get an overall perspective of how to create realistic looking bark for the trees. Another suggestion was to add different style of tree’s also, instead of having the same copy and paste trees in the background in levels.
